Description

Job Overview:

Provide dedicated HSES support for decommissioning project. Development of project plans and procedures.

Provide verbal and written reports on the general status of the safety of the project, offshore operations and status of implementation of safety initiatives.

Participate in HSE audit programs. Scrutinize contractor HSE screening process and documentation.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure company HSE policies and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively.
Support the HSE management of Subcontractors and vendors.
Development of project offshore safety and environmental management plans and procedures.
Initiate, monitor and report on the progress of audit and inspection findings for vessels.
Assist in the development and implementation of HSE initiatives within the Project.
Report periodic safety statistics in the required formats.
Specify and assist procuring safety related equipment for special and nonreoccurring purchases.
Provide HSE support to the management of vessels and offshore operations.
Assist in formalizing incident investigations
Participate in offshore HSE rotation when required

Essential Qualifications and Education:

Ideally 05 years experience as HSES specialist in resources / FIFO industry
Proficient in MS Office software packages
Good oral and written communication skills
Exposure to Accident Investigation & Analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications and Education:

Lead Auditor certification (preferred)
