How you will make contributions that matter

Join Saputo Dairy Australia in a fulltime permanent opportunity as a Supply Planner based at our Southbank offices.

Operating within the Supply and Demand space you will be responsible for ensuring product availability and inventory deployment across the network to meet customer orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.

In this role, you will collaborate and liaise with multiple departments with the final output being customer focused.

Key elements of your role will include:

  • Maintaining monthly forecasts in conjunction with the sales team
  • Managing all stock and inventory within business units and development/documentation of procedures
  • Coordinating long term monthly production plans and raw material requirements, in particular around the planning of short
- and long-term retail dairy products

  • Working with the operations team to align on manufacturing to meet customer requirements

About you:

You will have:

  • Experience in a similar environment, fast moving, manufacturing environment, preferably food where shelf life is a constraint
  • Good understanding of forecasting systems, & ERP systems, with SAP experience highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel skills
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills which are critical to this role as it requires collaboration
  • Overall business knowledge of sales, operations & distribution
