We're currently looking for an Assistant Night Manager to join our dynamic Front Office Team. We can consider both full time and part time applicants.

As the Assistant Night Manager, you will be responsible for the overall running of the Hotel in the absence of Senior Management.

You will oversee all overnight operations & Night Audit Procedures, including verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges/revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of Guest Services.

You will also ensure the safety, security and smooth running of all other hotel operations.

This role is ideal for someone whose lifestyle fits the working night schedule, enjoys working with numbers, and who wants to continue to consolidate their leadership and technical capability within a supportive environment.

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

Processing payments including room charges, debit and credit, cash and cheques in accordance with established procedures
Checking guests in, out and managing any wakeup call requests
Running night audit property management systems or manual equivalents
Distributing relevant Night Audit reports to the Leadership team
Dealing with guest enquiries and special guest requests

What we need from you to be successful in the role;

Experience in a similar role or strong Night Audit/Hotel Operations experience & ready to take the next step
Strong experience with Opera PMS
Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card
First Aid certificate
Valid Australian Driver's license
Strong communication, problem solving and relationship building skills for effective and pleasant interactions with guests and housekeeping staff
Accounting and mathematics skills for accurate auditing and payment processing
Cash handling experience for counting and securing bank and processing cash payments
Passionate about delivering exceptional Customer service
Positive and flexible attitude
Right to Legally work in Australia
