This well-respected family-owned transport company based in Derrimut is seeking to engage a qualified, diligent, and conscientious individual to take responsibility for cleaning of the company's Fleet of Trucks & Trailers.

Making the Fleet spotless on the inside as well as the outside is the primary objective of this role.

Principal Tasks and Accountabilities

Monitor and schedule Truck and Trailer Cleaning
Transfer Fleet vehicles (Trucks & Trailers) to and from the Wash Bay.
Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, pumps, vacuums, and other equipment to meet DWT Fleet cleaning and service expectations (Trucks & Trailers).
Perform inspections and keep complete, accurate records of the Fleets condition.
Clean all glass on the vehicle, inside and out, with the appropriate type of cleaning products.
Clean engines and remove grease from the Trucks & Trailers.
Wax and buff trucks and trailers after washing.
Use air compressors and special equipment to dry inside and outside surfaces.
Fix minor scratches and chips with touchup vehicle paint.
Monitor inventory and arrange reorder of supplies.

To be successful in this role you will need to;

Be licenced to drive trucks (HC Licence Minimum)
Have some experience in driving trucks
Work experience as a Vehicle Detailer or similar role would be well regarded
Attention to detail with solid customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, and bending.
Ability to follow directions and use initiative to achieve high quality results.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Administrative ability to organise and prepare documentation.
