About the role


The NMS Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator participates in service planning and development activities within the clinical specialty area in the general support, debrief and referral to all nurses and midwives, and students as well as support related projects and research.


The NMS Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator is a key role within the Nursing and Midwifery Service team, focusing on stakeholder engagement, marketing and promotion to enhance service growth and the creation of supportive content for nurses and midwives.

Content is delivered across a range of platforms and mediums including the NMS website, newsletter, blogs and podcasts.

About you


To be successful in this role you will possess:


Essential:

Bachelor of Nursing / Midwifery or other recognised equivalent formal qualification leading to condition free registration in Australia

Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australian (NMBA) via AHPRA

At least 5 years' experience

Previous experience in health promotion / education and training (education and training in setting of training needs analysis development)

Desirable

Post Graduate qualification of further study (i.e. Cert IV) in communications, marketing and/or health promotion

Post Registration or Post Graduate qualification or further study in other relevant clinical or academic field or working towards

Experience

Highly developed interpersonal and relationship skills

Highly developed communication and presentation skills

Proven track record of working with a broad range of stakeholders

Strong ability to work with others to achieve beneficial outcomes

Demonstrated skills aligned with experience and scope of practice

Demonstrated leadership and teaching skills in the clinical setting


Knowledge and Skills:


Understanding and commitment to professional standards, codes and behaviours and legislation developed by the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia, other relevant professional bodies and Eastern Health Policy, Standards and Practice Guidelines.

Awareness and understanding of National Standards and Accreditation Standards.


High level communication, both written and verbal, demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills with consumers, their families and all health care professionals.

Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Computer literacy and embracing of health technologies and informatics.
