Bupa Sutherland is a modern care home located in the heart of the Sutherland Shire, and is close to local shops, parklands and transport links.

It consists of 144 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.


About the Role


The role of Customer Service Consultant/ Resident Administrator in our home has now become available due to an internal transition and is an exciting opportunity for anyone seeking a hybrid role, with no two days the same.


This exciting position is paramount in contributing to our customer-centric administrative experience for our internal and external customers, from Residents, to Residents loved ones, Employees, Entertainers and Hospitals/ Social Workers.


This role performs duties across all of the below three core focus areas:

Resident Placement


Providing prospective residents and loved ones with a warm, welcoming, and informative introduction to our care home by coordinating the admissions, welcome and settling in process in collaboration with our home teams to ensure the best possible customer experience You will also be a key contact for our 'Resident Journey'; from supporting residents and their families with queries to working with our Recreational Team and our head office stakeholders on Resident initiatives, communications and marketing/ events.


HR support


This role will support our care home Employee experience You will be involved and cross trained in rostering, recruitment activities, onboarding and induction of new starters, and working our HR calendar.


Concierge / Administration

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable administrative experience or evidential transferrable experience
  • Customer service experience in a workplace
  • A qualification in administration/ office skills is desirable, however not mandatory
  • Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service focus.
  • Possesses comprehensive computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel)
  • Effective time management and organisational skills

As part of the NDIS scheme, employees working within a NDIS facility, in a risk assessed role, must have a completed NDIS check.

This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement - successful applicants will have this cost reimbursed upon commencement.





IMPORTANT:

All aged care workers must be vaccinated against seasonal influenza, and have the relevant COVID and Booster vaccinations in line with State legislation.

Evidence of these vaccinations will be required prior to commencement.
