About the role:


Reporting to the Go to Market Manager, you will assist in developing the Go to Market Brief and ensure that category teams comply with the First Choice Liquor Market Trade Plan framework including style guide, value pyramid and brand strategy.


You'll also:

  • Ensure the Go to Market Brief reflects the customer needs as identified through customer insights, as well as identifying suitable cross promotional activity
  • Ensure that the right information is received from the merchandise and marketing teams to enable the loyalty, media, content and operations teams to execute
  • Drive simple, consistent and efficient processes ensuring the customer and stores are at the heart of decisions
  • Deliver an outstanding customer centric offer via weekly catalogues that supports the longterm trade marketing plan and customer calendar
  • Build strong relationships and work cross functionally with Merchandise, Trade Planning, Marketing and Central Operations

About you and your skills:

We're looking for a marketing professional with proven experience within a retail business. You have experience working in a customer-centric environment and improving processes to deliver a better outcome for customers.


You'll also need:

  • Experience in a similar position, Marketing Coordinator or entry level marketing position
  • Knowledge of trade practices and general compliance
  • Solid understanding of the interface between marketing and other business areas and ability to work with crossfunctional teams
  • Outstanding time and project management skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work within tight timeframes
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a positive, 'cando' attitude
  • Demonstrated track record of Influencing key decision makers to achieve the right outcome for customers
  • The ability to simplify and improve processes to deliver a better outcome for customers
