You'll be responsible for

  • Ensure the delivery of superior customer service while ensuring that all compliance and legal obligations are met
  • Managing a team who looks after customers experiencing domestic violence and complex mental health
  • Leading and developing a team with the aim of improving negotiation, customer service and technical skills
  • Acting as the escalation point by assisting in resolving complex inquiries or complains beyond the authority of team members
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with other functional areas of the business
  • Participating in industry forums and developing best practices

About you

  • 3 years of experience in a team management or leadership role with a strong understanding of claims management principles
  • Experience or background in insurance claims
  • Ability to make logical decisions in different types of situations
  • Empathy in dealing with complex situations and clients under distress
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
