- Ensure the delivery of superior customer service while ensuring that all compliance and legal obligations are met
- Managing a team who looks after customers experiencing domestic violence and complex mental health
- Leading and developing a team with the aim of improving negotiation, customer service and technical skills
- Acting as the escalation point by assisting in resolving complex inquiries or complains beyond the authority of team members
- Developing and maintaining relationships with other functional areas of the business
- Participating in industry forums and developing best practices
About you
- 3 years of experience in a team management or leadership role with a strong understanding of claims management principles
- Experience or background in insurance claims
- Ability to make logical decisions in different types of situations
- Empathy in dealing with complex situations and clients under distress
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
