The Difference You Will Make:


You will be instrumental to support the success of the STERIS IPT (Infection Prevention Technology) CSD (Central Sterilization Department) business in the Australian market.

You will deliver repeatable, high quality and structured product education programs and sessions to Customers and IPT CSD commercial team members to ensure the business supports the latest information and market trends and requirements.


Cultural cooperation is integral, and you will work closely with all internal and external partners to optimise opportunities & build a strong & supportive team, optimise team product knowledge, and drive a high standard of customer education and support.


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will play an important role in the delivery of product launches & campaigns in line with marketing and sales strategy and to support the overall commercial business.

What You Will Do:


  • Be an Infection Control product expert for customers & teammembers. Maintain up to date knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
  • Liaise with the Marketing Manager/National Sales Manager/Projects teams to coordinate new installation support allocation across VIC/TAS/SA territories, as well as development and implementation of training programs for new projects.
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service and work with team members to provide satisfactory solutions.
  • Regular review of existing STERIS educational resources. Identify market trends, standards and guidelines that require content modification.
  • Identify and create tools to support improvement for sales effectiveness as required.
  • Coordinate or deliver professional, highquality product training for new sales and marketing teammembers (in line with onboarding programs)
  • Record all relevant training documentation in line with company policy and QMS requirements.
  • Represent the company at various community and business meetings to promote positive relationships with partners, customers, and distributors.
  • Build constructive relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and KOL's to optimise our presence and positive reputation in the market.
  • In conjunction with Marketing Manager, execute the plan and launch of new product introductions. Assist with postmarket surveillance in relation to new product introductions.

Your Expertise:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Medical Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields
  • Proven ability to drive growth of a brand
  • Strong clinical product training experience (capital/consumables in Operating Room, Central Supply, Infection Prevention/Control, Sterile Processing Department)
  • Experience in product management and product training program development
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of industry standards and guidelines aligned to Infection Prevention Technology product and services
  • Customer outcome focused, with ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
