The Leaders


You'll report into the GM of People & Culture who is a highly regarded P&C practitioner, known for leading human-centred and commercially astute people functions.

Their leadership style is collaborative and one that drives a culture of innovation and curiosity - seeking ways in which to enhance organisational performance, capability and culture through contemporary and sophisticated practices.


The Opportunity


The P&C Manager will be responsible for working in partnership with operational leaders across the employee lifecycle, advising and coaching on best practice aligned to business needs.


It is a true hands-on generalist role where you will have the opportunity to deliver impactful work and drive innovation through continuous improvement initiatives.


Further, you will:

  • Foster an inclusive work environment aligned with organisational values
  • Advise leaders on employee relations, policies, and recruitment
  • Coach stakeholders to uplift leadership capability
  • Lead annual and cyclical people activities including salary review, performance reviews, talent and succession planning and employee engagement
  • Implement solutions that enhance the employee experience including leveraging new technology
  • Use data to inform decisionmaking and to influence outcomes with senior leaders
  • Resolve workplace behavior issues
  • Develop, review, and monitor P&C procedures and policies
  • Provide mentorship to the broader P&C team and act as a point of escalation

About You


Key to your success will be your extensive experience working as a hands-on P&C Manager in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The ability to work across all verticals of the employee lifecycle will see you make an impact and enhance the capability of the P&C function.

Supported by this will be your strong expertise in employee relations and the ability to interpret Awards.


You will have a passion for driving excellence which includes delivering process improvement initiatives and having strong commercial acumen to align people practices to the overall business objectives.


Being able to work independently and use sound-decision making techniques will see you hit the ground running as well as the ability to direct workflow appropriately to the broader team.

Experience working within the energy sector is advantageous but not a must


The Process


The process will see you meet with a Levyl consultant, followed by what we anticipate being two-to-three rounds of interviews with the client which will include a meeting with the GM of P&C as well as business stakeholders.
