At Serenity Support Services we require you to have the following:

• Mandatory requirements:_
• Drivers Licence (if applicable)
• International Police check (if applicable)
• Employee working with children check for Victoria
• Current First Aid Level 2 Certificate with CPR
• NDIS Worker Clearance
• Preferred qualification:_
• Certificate in Disability
• Certificate in Aged care
• Certificate in Community Services
• Certificate in Individual Supports in Community
• Certificate in Children's Services
• Manual handling training and/or experience
• Nursing background
• Experience in high and low care needs clients

What the day to day supports look like:

• Supporting people to get to (and at) appointments.
• Community access
• Providing assistance with daily living including meal preparation.
• Personal Care, supporting the client with their hygiene routine.
• Assist and administer medicine.
• High intensity care
• Wound care
• Supporting people in general domestic task.
• Provide mental health and emotional support.

Job Type:
Subcontract


Salary:
From $34.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• Fixed shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Driver Licence (preferred)
• Working with Children Check (required)
• National Police Certificate (required)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Melbourne, VIC (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (preferred)
