Description

As Manager, Community Development you will lead and manage the team that partners with local communities and neighbourhood houses through local Peer Action Groups, to design and implement projects and initiatives that respond to issues and opportunities identified by people with disabilities.

As a key member of the VALID Management Team you will contribute at strategic level, and share knowledge with colleagues to strengthen and grow the organisation.

For this key role you'll need proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a diverse team, and well-developed organisational skills to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.

You'll also be a good networker, with experience in developing strategic partnerships and projects, have an understanding of inclusive community development, and be committed to VALID's values and mission.
