Qualifications & experience

Minimum 6 months of paid experience in Australia as a PCA in Aged care.

A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care

A passion for providing quality, relationship-based individual care

An uncompromising standard of care delivered with compassion, dignity, and respect

A positive and flexible attitude

Ability to work in a team and independently

Tasks & responsibilities

The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for providing quality care, services, and recreational activities to the residents.

Reporting all incidents and changes in resident behavior in a timely manner to RNs

Complete all activities related to Residents' Care documentation Plans and ensure high compliance with relevant documentation processes

Participate in activities aimed at the continuous improvement of services
