Leading Finance organisation seeks an experienced Collections officer to work in a friendly team environment. You will be handling collection of Mortgage/Car finance accounts.


The Role:

  • Responding to inbound and making outbound calls
  • Proactively make debt recovery calls
  • Negotiating payments of outstanding debts
  • Arranging suitable payment plans for customers
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service

The Skills:

  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Confident negotiation & problem solving skills
  • Effective time management & organisation skills
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment (Dialler)
  • Previous Collections experience
  • Strong knowledge in Privacy, UCCC and Legislative requirements


You will be able to work under pressure, possess the ability to meet deadlines, work well in a team environment and use your relationship building skills to build rapport and develop effective customer relationships.

You will ideally have experience in the finance or mortgage industry.
