Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity exists for a Transport Operations Supervisor working with Coca Cola bulk distribution.

The position is based in Mentone where you will manage and exceed the clients expectation with a strong understanding and focus on deliveries of their product.

The shift pattern is 12pm to 8pm, M-F.


As the Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Effectively co-ordinate all outbound transport services.
  • Daily checks to ensure arrival and departing times are met per agreed time schedule.
  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the client and exceed their expectations
  • Manage all staff members ensuring all procedures, deadlines and KPIs are being met
  • Ensure safety is a priority and maintain a safe work environment for all staff and site visitors

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar position, with responsibility for leading a strong safety culture
  • Advance problem solving and escalation capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan area
  • Experience including manual and automated (TMS) Transport management systems or equivalent
