• Under direct supervision, conduct analyses that adhere to actuarial standards of practice: select appropriate data sources and methods, make assumptions, recognize considerations and develop recommendations.
• Become familiar with data sources and requirements; retrieve and manipulate data.
• Analyse data on premium and claims for experience analysis
• Develop knowledge of actuarial methodologies by assisting in the creation/revision of pricing models and tools for automation.
• Assist in conducting research for pricing and modelling.
• Assist senior actuaries in pricing activities across Group and Retail portfolio.
• Other adhoc tasks

• This is a 12 months contract position

• No prior actuarial work experience required. Knowledge of advanced mathematics and statistical

• Effective verbal and written communication, time management and organization skills.
• Ability to comprehend actuarial concepts and other advanced statistical concepts.
• Ability to think logically and perform accurate calculations in a timely manner.
• Ability to use personal computer, ppt slides, and Microsoft Office (including visual basic). Experience in Python and SQL is an advantage.

• Completed or nearly completed bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or related field with a strong quantitative orientation.
