Business Development Executive - Commercial WA

Proudly Australian, and the largest Australian local air conditioner brand with a wide range of reliable and energy-efficient products including wall-hung splits, multi-head units, cassettes, low profile ducted systems, split ducted systems, and packaged units.


The Role:


Business Development Executive will be working closely with State Manager, focusing on commercial account management, increasing sales of commercial units, identifying opportunities, and developing relationships and business with new and existing commercial clients, as well as providing field research analysis of markets, and competitors.


Responsibility:

Account Management

  • Support and assist commercial clients utilizing the full scope of technical systems provided
  • On an ongoing basis review commercial business activity in conjunction with clients
  • Update the client with relevant marketing material, campaigns, and training and development initiatives.
  • Maintain, develop & secure commercial business & relationships with commercial contractors, consultants & specifiers

Business Development & Growth (BDG)

  • Seek and identify new commercial business opportunities or initiatives that may impact the organization's overall competitiveness, profitability, and growth.
  • Target business initiatives & plans are executed and constructed
  • Explore distribution channels, presenting potential new markets to the senior management team.

Marketing Analysis & Support
- field research analysis of new and existing businesses, markets, pricing, and competitors.

  • Prepare client feedback analysis report outcomes and distribute them to relevant departments
  • Work with another department in reviewing the product/service range offered
  • Participate in and actively promote company products at trade shows and other relevant industry associated promotional/marketing venues
  • Review the product/service range offered by the company ensuring it remains in line with industry/market requirements/trends

Reporting and General Administration

  • Develop and prepare commercial monthly strategic action plans for presentation at monthly sales meetings
- prepare quotations within the authorization level, and get review & approval by the State Manager
- forecast targets and update to the State manager for review & approval monthly.

Project Management
- provide direction and support to customer care and project sales support team when require
- work with customer care and project sales support team leaders to ensure Project management outcomes are in line with customer expectation

  • Monitor and track the progress of projects to ensure that it is consistent with established plans

Cross-Functional Support / Training

  • Attend required industry training to maintain and satisfy the requirements of the company
  • Experience in working or dealing with commercial clients/ business
  • Technical understanding of HVAC equipment is essential
  • Experience in selling Air conditioning, HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical Control Systems, or Electrical Services/Devices is preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational management skills
  • Strong communication skills
