The Role


As a Learning Design Consultant, you will lead on the provision of educational design, technical production and support for Murdoch University's technology enhanced learning, online learning programs and micro-credentials.

You will provide leadership and expert advice in contemporary curriculum, educational development, learning design and future pedagogies to improve the delivery of online and technology enhanced learning programs.


As a Learning Design Consultant, you will assist with strategic change initiatives in learning and teaching and work with academic teams to make sure learning activities, products and services are at the forefront of learning innovation and abide by quality and accessibility standards.

You will liaise with the Learning Media Developer to assist with the use of micro studios and provide media assistance when needed.

What you'll bring to this role

  • A postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in learning and/or education/training
  • Experience in leading, influencing and supporting collaboration
  • Highly effective communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt process, methods and requirements to meet deadlines.
