We are seeking suitably experienced Medical Administration professionals to join our dynamic team on a fixed term (1 Year) full time basis.

The successful applicant will have superior interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service, demonstrated abilities to multitask and work in a very fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Patient Navigators provide essential support to the multi-disciplinary team of Specialists, Registrars, Nurses, Radiation Therapists, who work together to provide the highest quality of compassionate, personalised care to our patients and their carers.


The key accountabilities will include:


  • Acting as the first point of contact for patients making appointments
  • Collecting patient information, maintaining patient privacy and accurate data entry
  • Typing specialist letters
  • General administration including document management
  • Liaising with Specialists, Registrars, Nurses, and peers, within multiple departments within the hospital
  • Completing tasks as allocated by Senior Patient Navigator and Team Leader
  • Minimum of two years demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional phone manner, excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task
  • Ability to work autonomously and complete work within tight timeframes.
  • Superior customer service and exceptional communication skills with the ability to work as an effective team member with flexibility to respond to fluctuating work flows
  • Positive, enthusiastic and a genuine love of working in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of quality, compassion and professionalism
  • Proficient computer skills including, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • An understanding of Medicare and DVA
