Great work like balance working in the mornings and the afternoons and having the middle of the day off to yourself working permanent part time 33.25 hours per week with 4.5 hours non-contact time off the floor.

KT OOSH is seeking an energetic, passionate, independent, and motivated Diploma qualified Team Leader educator to join our dedicated team to work with our 3-5yr old Pre-K children in our Before & After School Care & Vacation Care programs in Rouse Hill.

The Position

You will be working with our Pre-K Children 7am - 9:00am and 3pm - 6pm Monday to Friday during the term and 5.5 hours per day during vacation care.

You will also be allocated 4.5 hours per week of non-contact time for the preparation, implementation and/or evaluation of developmental programs for the children.

Our Pre-K program works up to 20 children per session for both Before & After School Care and Vacation Care periods.

The successful applicant will be required to:

Provide a play based educational program for the children.
Support children aged 312 years in an inclusive, positive, and supportive environment
Demonstrate a sound understanding and knowledge of both the Early Years and National Quality Framework.
Be able to lead and work effectively within a team environment
Have a high level of initiative and commitment to ongoing learning
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre by developing and embracing new processes

Criteria

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (as approved by ACECQA)
Current first aid, asthma & anaphylaxis certificates preferable.
Current Child protection training.
Current Working With Children Check.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be a positive team player who looks for ways to improve current work practices and processes
