Disability Support Worker - Group Homes (Casual)
S.M.E is a registered nursing agency that is located in Liverpool and has been operating for over 18 years.
We provide highly qualified and very experienced Disability Support Workers (DSW) to many Group homes, Medical Units and Respite Centres all across Sydney and are currently looking for a few professional, dedicated and friendly DSW's to join our team.
Your responsibilities as an DSW will include:
- Assisting patients with their personal care needs such as showering, toileting, shaving, oral hygiene, dressing and eating.
- Assisting patients with their mobility and communication needs. Driving clients to and from appointments/post school options General light cleaning duties around the group homes, washing clothes, washing dishes etc
All applicants must have:
- A Certificate 3 in either Aged Care _or_ Disability (or if you do not have a certificate yet, simply proof of your enrolment in a course)
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current Police Clearance
- A current Working with Children Check (WWC)
- Drivers Licence (a must) Curriculum Vitae (CV)
