Description

We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced Teacher of English with experience across Year 7 to Year 10 English on a Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract. A more comprehensive timetable will be provided at the time of appointment.

:

_ This position will commence on 15 January 2024 and continue until 13 June 2024._

Skills and qualities we require

:

Excellent knowledge of, and experience with the QCAA and Australian Curriculum for English
Demonstrated high intellectual capabilities and a strong academic background
Demonstrated passion and commitment for teaching and pastoral care for all students
Demonstrated interest in contemporary curriculum issues, especially those relating to girls' education
Confident user of ICT and associated programs with the ability to use technology as an integral part of teaching and learning
Support the School's traditions and Christian ethos.

_ It is a mandatory requirement to hold the appropriate tertiary qualifications and current Queensland Teacher Registration (QCT)_.
