We design, manufacture and install modular buildings for education, affordable housing, mining, custodial and commercial sectors across all mainland Australian states.

About the role:


The Material's Coordinator role plays a fundamental part in making sure that Fleetwood's materials and equipment are controlled to a high level of process efficiency and waste reduction, whilst also making sure all of these materials are within specification.

To be successful in this role you must be able to lead by example through highly developed safety and quality standards at all times.

We are also looking for someone with sound knowledge of materials handling and logistics, with a minimum of two years in a similar role.

You also must be able to complete multiple tasks and delegate material outlay tasks with varying levels of priority in a fast-paced environment.

The role is based at our Perth Airport facility, reporting to the Production Manager. You will enjoy working with subcontractors and liaising with various departments regarding our materials.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Issue job specific materials and consumables to subcontractors in a programmed and timely fashion.
  • Receive inwards materials from warehouse and place in designated areas accordingly.
  • Periodic stock takes of inventories.
  • Assist the Yard Hand with necessary paperwork for dispatch.
  • Maintain stock inventories.
  • Check materials match plans.
  • Handle subcontractor materials matters.
  • Forklift duties.
  • Delegation of work between various departments to maximise workflow.
  • Report on key measures as needed to Production Services and Maintenance Manager.

The

successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Current National High Risk Forklift License
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Comprehensive understanding of the building industry
  • Excellent understanding of all safety, quality and environmental policies.
  • Ability to lead by example on safety matters.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
