Canberra/Open for Hybrid Work
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Looking for an experienced (senior) Desktop and Server Administrator (Windows Administrator) with a primary focus on Windows 10 and 11 desktop configuration, maintenance and third-level support.
We have commenced our Workforce Modernisation program which in alignment with our corporate laptop renewal includes delivery of a new SOE, adoption of Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, enablement of SCCM to Intune hybrid connection, refinement / clean-up of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, VPN rationalisation amongst other things.
- Taking leadership initiative to support the ICT operations manager in delivery of our Workforce Modernisation program
- Installing, managing, and upgrading Windowsbased systems and servers within company
- Providing technical support and guidance to users and customers
- Performing system maintenance, backups, and security measures
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting network and system issues
- Configuring user access and data protection
Essential Criteria:
- Must have significant experience as a Desktop and Server Administrator with a primary focus on Windows 10 and 1
- Must have significant experience in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Endpoint Security, Windows Desktop Administration and Desktop Deployment.
- Must have experience in Microsoft's System Centre Configuration Manager, software packaging and deployment.
- Must have significant experience in / with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory as well as Exchange Online.
- Must have experience in multiple operating systems and server platforms Linux and Windows as a minimum.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and be able to translate the complex into simple terms for nonICT personnel.
