Buildability Group currently has a great opportunity available for an experienced Yard Manager to work for a highly reputable civil contractor - based in Western Sydney.
This role is vacant for a self-motivated individual who can work alongside the Owners, General Manager and Project Managers, taking responsibility for plant, equipment and supplies which facilitate their projects across NSW.
- A dozen tippers, truck and quads
- A dozen rollers, excavators, dozers, graders, screens etc.
What are we looking for in a Yard Manager?
- Previous experience managing fleet / plant within the civil industry highly desirable
- Confident, motivated person who is proactive
- Previous experience with company assets and ensuring machinery is maintained
- Commercially minded
- Sound commitment to OH&S and a practical attitude
- A background & knowledge of heavy machinery, trucks, and tools
- Great communication skills & ability to manage IT systems
- HR/HC license advantageous
