About this role

This is a newly created lead role within the Regulation and Compliance Unit, with primary responsibility for leading the system manager function on behalf of the Secretary, NSW Health, in relation to the prevention and management of serious wrongdoing across the NSW Health system.


Crown Clerk Grade 11/12, salary from $134,411 - $155,445 plus Super and annual leave loading.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll be managing a team within the broader unit, and work closely with the Director, Regulation and Compliance, in providing expert advice and oversight on issues of probity, corrupt conduct, protected disclosures and best practice in the conducting of special investigations.

Key to your success, you'll be able to build and maintain relationships with key staff within the Ministry, within NSW Health entities, and in other NSW government agencies, to build capability and capacity in managing and responding to allegations of serious wrongdoing.


About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who have demonstrated:

  • Experience in undertaking complex projects and investigations into serious wrongdoing or misconduct, and a demonstrated understanding of modern investigation/review techniques.
  • Success in leading and managing people and teams.
