APG Workforce are currently looking for a Records and Information Manager for a 5-month contract Government Sector based in Parramatta.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide efficient and effective management of records that accurately documents business activities in accordance with established operational guidelines, government regulations and recognised best practice standards across the Commission.
  • Provide oversight of the information management framework to ensure the effective management, access to, retrieval and disposal of the Commission's records.
  • Review the existing Commission's records management system and propose and implement a new effective information management tool/system, ensuring it has a robust security framework and is developed in accordance to business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and ensure the Commission's compliance with the State Records Act 1998, the ISO 9001 Quality standard, and associated standards and policies, and track, identify, analyse, and rectify areas of records noncompliance across the entire organisation including through the provision of training.
  • Review, coordinate and manage all processes, policies and procedures (in accordance with the quality management system developed).
  • Develop and manage the Commission's business continuity framework, including the development and oversight of critical business processes.
  • Support the implementation of the Commission's second line of defence activities, including review of effectiveness of controls to the Commission's key risks.
