- Assisting the Finance Team with the transition to Dynamics 365 by helping them adapt procedures and templates
- Managing the month-end accounting and reporting process, which includes creating complex journals, reviewing financial results, and completing other month-end tasks
- Preparing and distributing daily reports
- Handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Overseeing the preparation of asset registers, asset capitalisations, and policies
- Analysing and resolving discrepancies found in reports
- Contributing to the budget and forecast processes
- Creating short-term cash flow projections for Manager review
- Assisting with compliance reporting, such as BAS, FBT, and income tax returns
- Preparing journal entries
- Supporting external audits
- Identifying and supporting opportunities for process automation and improvement
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to discuss financial outcomes
- Actively participating in and providing input during team meetings
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards achieving)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 is highly desirable, but not essential
- Proficient in advanced Excel skills, including model creation and maintenance
- Ability to effectively handle and analyse large data sets to generate meaningful outputs
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and build positive relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Proactive and enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional growth
