ASSISTANT IN NURSING - Operating Theatre

PART TIME - 60 hrs per fortnight
As an Assistant in Nursing your responsibilities will include**:

Assisting Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in the Peri-operative Suite.
Providing clinical and nonclinical support to the nursing team as directed by the POSM
Retaining responsibilities for his/her actions and remains accountable for the provision of the delegated tasks and duties
Working as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters for Assistants in Nursing.

Essential Criteria:

Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
A desire to work in an Operating Theatre environment
