Description

Bupa has an opening for an Analytics Assurance Manager to be a part of a newly formed team created to embed and drive a data driven culture, meeting the data access and analytical needs of the Bupa Group Internal Audit (GIA) Function and its stakeholders.

While this role will focus primarily on the APAC Region, the team has international scope and breadth and will be responsible for addressing all departmental needs specific to the planning, organising, staffing, directing, and controlling of the data analytics and assurance operation.


  • This is a hybrid, permanent, fulltime position based from our Melbourne offices, when you aren't working from home._

How will I help?

  • Support the delivery of assurance work carried out by Bupa's auditors, by providing indepth and insightly analysis of available risk and business data.
  • Play a key role in supporting the evolution of how GIA uses available data for its risk assessment and assurance planning and evolving this become part of a realtime led ecosystem.
  • You'll support the team by developing their analytical tools and delivery of greater access to data sources.
  • Produce all GIA's existing management and operational reporting from Bupa's core audit management platform.

This calls for professionals with not only strong data management knowledge, but also an understanding of commercial intricacies.


In addition, you'll be:

  • An Excel wizard, bringing skills in writing VBA models
  • Analytical in approach, including systematically drawing on multiple information sources to draw a clear and sound conclusion.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of data architecture and data analysis concepts
  • People leader, with past experience managing, developing and engaging small teams (13)
