About the role:


The HR BP supports specific BA/s within Demant ANZ working closely with the Leadership Team and employees on the front line, providing hands on and strategic input, insight and advice on people related issues, talent management, ER, coaching/development, and training.


The HRBP plays an essential role in establishing and driving HR programs/talent initiatives forward in alignment with Director HR ANZ and company/BA business objectives.


It's about delivering innovative ways of developing organizational and people capability, building on deep data driven insights into the strategic and commercial direction of the business.

Responsibilities:


  • Contributes to business strategy by helping BA Leaders identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes to achieve business goals.
  • Understands the Business and its drivers, builds relationships with line managers/stakeholders to identify and provide HR input across a range of HR issues and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Oversees the end to end of the Employee Life Cycle of the dedicated BA by providing advice on labour legislation, policies and procedures and working closely with BA to ensure smooth resolution on HR matters to mitigate risk, including disciplinary and grievance matters, enhancing communications, engagements and performance.
  • Collaborates with TA Manager, drives TA strategies and materials to strengthen the Company's Employer brand (in alignment with Global).
  • Partner with L&D to work on value added programs in areas of training, development, career mobility and job performance.
  • Provides coaching and leadership development support to BA leadership team.
  • Collaborates with BA leadership Team to identify and prioritize talents, with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards and develop key capabilities.
  • Collaborates with the wider HR Team to champion and accelerates a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • Manages specific projects as determined by the Director HR ANZ in the annual HR plan and contributes to functional and organizational initiatives.
  • Collaborates with HRSS in building workforce analytics and other data points to ensure consistencies, accuracies and timeliness using data to drive impactful conversations with BA key stakeholders.

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources Management and/or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a HR Business Partner capacity
  • Strong systems knowledge (Excel, Power point, reporting, HRIS/Payroll).
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian/New Zealand employment legislation.
  • Prior experience working in a retail/service/medical device environment preferable.
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge of a broad range of HR/IR areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships and influence leaders.
  • Strong business acumen and ability translate business strategy into strategic HR initiatives.
  • Ability to read and interpret dashboards and reports containing complex data.
  • Ability to set up and track relevant metrics and KPIs and use them to drive business results.
  • Understand change management and project management capabilities.
