THE OPPORTUNITY


The Faculty of Education, Service Skills and Environment provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.

The Le Cordon Blue department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in Le Cordon Bleu Cuisine Programs at our Moorabbin campus.


The position will develop, implement and facilitate contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning methodologies to maximise student learning outcomes in modern French and International cuisine.


Salary:
$82.01 p/h to $88.60 p/h + 10.5% super


Location:
Moorabbin campus.


WWCC:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an 'employee' Working with Children Check.


Position Status:
Casual.


ABOUT YOU

You will have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE 40116 OR Certificate IV TAE 40110 including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 and relevant vocational qualification.
  • Highly developed French cookery skills and substantial experience as an executive chef
  • Ability to research and develop appropriate teaching materials, resources, and methods of assessment.
  • Ability to foster and promote an inclusive learning environment and ensure a healthy and safe learning environment, promoting student autonomy and independent learning strategies.
  • Ability to instruct a range of students and adapt suitable strategies including multicultural awareness and a commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and written and verbal communications skills.
  • The ability to work as a selfdirected member of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records.
