The Company

We have a new requirement for two Solution Architects with experience working on data projects

We are working with a top-tier mining organisation who having a pending greenfield project and they are looking for a skilled Data Solution Architect to join the team. You will be based in Perth CBD.

You will be creating frameworks to combine data from heavy industry equipment using modern tech. Developing strategies for gathering, storing and analysing data, collaborating with teams to understand map data flow from IoT systems.

We have two contract roles available One for an initial period of 6-months, with likely 6-month extension. And one part-time opportunity for an initial term of 6-months with possible extension.

If you are looking for your next contract please act quick. You will be offered a rate of $135-$160p/hr + super depending on experience.

Your Skills

Essential skills:

Proven experience as a Solution Architect, specializing in data and integration within industrial or operational technology settings.
Familiarity with time-series databases, data streaming, and big data technologies.
Knowledge of data integration platforms and ETL tools.
Expertise in AWS, Azure data platforms, and Snowflake.
Proficient in MQTT, SparkplugB and other relevant OT data communication protocols would be ideal.
Experience with Python, Java and/or .Net would be beneficial
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously
