The opportunity
Our client is a community focused Federal Government Agency.

They have an exciting opportunity available for an APS6 ICT Workforce Coordinator to join the Office of the CIO in ensuring the appropriate management of resources across recruitment & workforce coordination.

APS6 Labour Hire hourly rate contract spanning an initial 12 months with the strong possibility of extension. Hourly rate on offer is $ Super. This role to be based out of our client's Richmond or Geelong location.

This contract will be within a hybrid environment, with 2 days working from home, and expected 37.5-hour weeks.


About the role


The APS6 ICT Workforce Coordinator position is a
team leadership position within the Agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve complex recruitment issues and risks across a range of activities.


Responsibilities:


  • Identifying and prioritising business demands through coordinating, monitoring, and collating data for workforce planning and reporting (including overview of APS and Labour Hire Worker).
  • Overseeing compliance related activities using relevant legislation, policy frameworks and procedures.
  • Resolving problems using knowledge and experience and taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
  • Providing advice, procedural guidance, and technical expertise in specific areas of APS recruitment and Labour Hire Worker procurement.
  • Supporting the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Providing support to team members and peers to complete activities in peak periods and or periods of (un)scheduled leave.

About you

  • Demonstrated ability to undertake complex recruitment advice and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legislative, financial, recruitment and administrative frameworks and government decision making processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to provide high level advice on a range on complex operational, procedural, administration, and business management activities.
  • IT background not essential, but highly regarded
