The Regional Manager, Utility Asset Management will work within a multi-disciplinary team to support both the execution of secured projects and business development activities to grow the pipeline of opportunities.


As the successful applicant you will:

  • Conduct asset risk analytics, value framework development and refinement, vulnerability assessments, and resiliency planning
  • Solve challenging client problems that may include planning, business case development, project implementation, monitoring, or assessments
  • Deliver daytoday project management functions, while also ensuring client expectations are met
  • Lead or participate in Bid discussions for potential opportunities
  • Create proposals, including methodology and estimates
  • Expand market awareness of the expertise within the team & Hatch's overall offerings
  • Attend trade conferences and industry association meetings, as applicable
  • Followup with potential clients on leads generated from various business development opportunities
  • Deliver tasks in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including all of Hatch's policies and procedures, including Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance, & Quality Control
  • Work alongside and/or support delivery of projects from other Hatch teams, as applicable

You will bring to this role:

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant utility sector or utility consulting experience, with at least 4 years of experience specifically delivering as a consultant, or working within asset management / capital planning teams of an electric utility, or other industries with heavy utility-scale electric infrastructure
  • Understanding of electrical equipment, infrastructure, maintenance practices, and ability to review and interpret planviews, single line, and key electrical equipment drawings
  • Strong knowledge of the core aspects of Electrical Engineering, particularly in relation to generation, transmission, and/or distribution assets, as applicable
  • Experience with asset management roadmap developments and/or related programs for electrical infrastructure
  • Knowledge of the requirements within asset management standards ISO 55000, 55001, and 5500
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering concepts and applicable statistical methodologies
  • Experience with data analytics and asset management software tools such as Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), asset performance management (APM), and investment planning (AIP) decision support tools
  • Familiarity in conducting asset life cycle cost analysis and asset management maturity assessments/gap assessments
  • Experience with predictive maintenance program creation or implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other applicable technical degree, preferably electrical
