The Manager, Health Safety and Wellbeing manages all aspects of DRDMW's health, safety and wellbeing framework, influences and shapes organisational safety culture and contributes to the development of a healthy and safe workforce and working environments.

The Manager, Health Safety and Wellbeing leads a team of advisors across the State to provide consultancy services in relation to workplace health, safety and wellbeing (HSW).

A key focus of the role will be to embed the department's safety management system and work across the business to mature safety culture and capability.

The role is responsible for leading the proactive development, management and implementation of evidence based HSW strategy, policies, services and initiatives.

The role requires an experienced manager with strong technical knowledge, who is experienced in the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO aligned safety management systems.

Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills, including the ability to lead delivery of a regionally dispersed advisory service and team are essential.
