Purpose of the role:


The primary purpose of the role is to:

  • Be responsible for hands-on supervision of a team of operatives.
  • Ensure efficient operations whilst focusing on quality and work health and safety.
  • Confidently liaise with management, team leaders and team members.
  • Provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when presented with issues.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment that does not tolerate unsafe acts or behaviours.
About You.

  • FMCG or equivalent Supervisory or Team Leader's experience.
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience.
  • A clear understanding of continuous improvement methodologies or experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to quickly engage with change.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Strong quality ethic, and quality systems knowledge.
  • Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster andflexibility to cover shifts as required within the team.
  • Strong track record in challenging the status quo, leading teams to develop solutions and implement process improvements.
