About you

Opportunity to join a dedicated and innovative team of Lived Experience staff.

Use your significant eating disorders carer lived experience supporting a young person within the Infant, Child and Youth mental health public system to provide support and information to other carers/family members.

Use your eating disorders lived carer lived experience to participate in the co-design of future service developments following the Royal Commission into Victorian Mental Health Services

Work for a leading Area Mental Health Service and within a multidisciplinary team.

About you


To be successful in this role you will possess:

Direct personal experience as a parent of a young person who has experienced a diagnosed Eating Disorder, and has received treatment within an Infant, Child & Youth mental health service.

Completion of Intentional Peer Support (IPS) OR a willingness to complete.

Demonstrated commitment to lived experience values and principles.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
