In this role you will:

  • Provide timely and costeffective customer focused service
  • Deal promptly, empathetically, and efficiently with customers to meet their needs
  • Negotiate payment arrangements where necessary
  • Accept and receipt payments where required
  • Maintain the property system by recording details of land transactions and subdivisions and initiating street numbering allocations and changes
  • Assist in the efficient operation of the rates department
  • Process and remit rebates and deferments
  • Participate in the overall development and improvement of team culture and performance

To be successful you will have:

  • Previous rates experience
  • Accurate numeracy and data input skills
  • Knowledge of, and ability to interpret and apply, legislation and regulations
  • Previous experience with MS Office package (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to explain information correctly and concisely
  • Customer service skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to a team environment
  • Managing workloads


This permanent full-time position attracts a Level 4 remuneration of $75,419 - $81,093 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience and a wide range of benefits to reward your contribution.
