Position Outcomes

The Financial Systems Analyst role is responsible to:

  • Deliver Level 1 support and end-user training for users of the department's finance systemand work as per scheduled support hours.
  • Perform daily morning tasks including reconciliations, perform month end close, monitoring of scheduled jobs and actioning issues/exceptions.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and collaborate on Teams or Zoom.
  • Maintain appropriate process documentation in relation to the department's Oracle processes and interfaces.
  • Triage tickets on ITSM tool and assign to relevant groups.
  • Support the delivery of services under service level agreement (SLA) to relevant portfolio agencies.
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational financial management services through identification, delivery and support of business process improvement

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory
Experience in any of the Oracle Financial Cloud Modules such as Procurement, AP, AR, GL and FA


Desirable
Experience in the use of technologies including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive, and Skype are highly desirable

A relevant tertiary degree would be well regarded
