About the Company
Our client is a leading independent corporate and commercial law firm in Australia, with offices in Adelaide and Darwin. They work with clients across Australia and internationally and are driven by achieving excellent outcomes for their clients.


About the Role
This full-time role, based in the Adelaide CBD is within the firm's Workplace & Workers Compensation team.

Your administrative and secretarial tasks will be including (but not limited to):

  • Typing from digital dictation or written drafts
  • Prepare letters of engagement on new matters, open new files and follow up on the return of engagement letters
  • Drafting basic correspondence
  • Close and Archive files
  • Diary management, especially in respect of court dates, filing deadlines etc
  • Organise meetings and conferences
  • Book medical appointments
  • Coordinate and book informal conferences/mediations with barristers, medical practitioners, plaintiff lawyers, and clients
  • Travel arrangements
  • Brief preparation draft index, locate/flag relevant documents, pdf bundle
  • Familiarity downloading, drafting and filing of relevant forms for SAET & SACAT actions from their website
  • Monthly billing using 3E (Elite) accounting system:
  • Provide support to others in the team, department and firm when the current workload within you own workgroup permits

About You:

  • Experience gained working in the workplace and workers compensation practice areas within a commercial law firm environment is preferred and will be highly regarded.
