About the Role
This role will be responsible for managing the approvals for system changes, review the effectiveness of change implementation, and suggest improvements to organisational procedures governing changes to the risk systems

Duties
It's an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as an
Systems Analyst (Archer) you will:

  • Perform system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting and escalating issues, including proactive problem resolution and complex problem analysis as necessary, to maintain systems to meet user demand.
  • Reduce operational risk and improve availability of the risk systems by ensuring system access, monitoring, control, evaluation and documentation practices are adhered to and maintained.
  • Develop, maintain and perform operational procedures and ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages and maintain the integrity and efficiency of reference data within risk systems.
  • Analyse risk data and effectively communicate emerging issues and trends in reporting to stakeholders to support appropriate organisational risk management strategies.
  • Evaluate new system enhancements and support the Risk team in implementing these.

Skills & Experience

  • Technical ability and experience in management of a GRC System, preferably RSA Archer or like system
  • Experience in performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting, including proactive problem resolution and complex problem analysis as necessary, to maintain GRMC system performance to meet user demand.
  • Risk oriented analytical, reporting and research role in the financial services industry
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and change.
  • Welldeveloped ability to compile and subsequently provide insights based the analysis of data from a range of sources.
  • Working knowledge of the financial services' regulatory framework and /or NSW Government Framework.
