The Centre of Cyber Security and Digital Information Technology provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.

The department of Computing and Information Technology is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in cyber security.


ABOUT YOU

  • Industry based experience.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
  • Experience in utilizing an online student learning management system.
  • Experience in developing teaching and learning resources to ASQA standards.
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Experience in conducting, capturing and editing video tutorials.
  • Experience in using remote delivery tools such as Webex/MS Teams
  • Ability to prepare, deliver and assess IT and cyber security training courses in three or more of the following disciplines:
  • Penetration Testing
  • Digital Forensics
  • Virtualisation
  • Cloud computing
  • Systems administration
  • Networking (CCNA, Palo Alto)
  • Programming


  • Cyber Essential

  • Industry certifications and/or industry experience in more than one the following areas are highly valued:
  • PEN testing of web and network-based infrastructure.
  • Virtualisation
technologies such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.

  • Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure
  • Digital forensics and incident response using Mobile devices and Workstations.
  • Cyber Security certifications such as ethical hacker, essential 8, cyber ops, firewalls
  • Operating Systems such as Windows Server/Client, Linux based platforms.
  • Programming
such as python, C#
