About The Role


As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a region of 4-6 care homes, across VIC, leading General Managers to ensure excellence in all aspects of service delivery, including high quality care, exceptional customer service and commercial sustainability.

You will take accountability for driving the Bupa brand through growth and the development of care home leaders within the Region of responsibility, however work as a close team with other Regional Managers and support SME's to positively influence outcomes for our residents, their families and the business.

You will be required to be flexible to travel, and visit care homes at short notice.

Duties

  • Lead and support a region of care homes to ensure operational deliverables are achieved, in line with KPIs and commercial plans
  • Leverage support roles and teams, both regional and corporate, to assist with management and growth initiatives
  • Drive initiatives to grow our market presence as well as ensuring sustainability of our care homes through occupancy management
  • Actively promote Bupa Quality Systems to ensure compliance with legislation and certification requirements
  • Ensure all homes comply with the relevant legislative guidelines and standards
  • Identify and address for improvement with implementation and auditing of quality systems
  • Collaborate with the Customer Engagement Team to drive a continuous improvement agenda in the customer experience
  • Lead a team of General Managers to ensure the effective management of their care home to achieve financial, operational, customer, safety and people objectives
  • Identify and develop talent, and coach General Managers int the end to end People functions including recruitment, performance reviews, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, ensuring compliance with Aged Care legislation and Bupa policies, driving employee engagement initiatives

Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years relevant management experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Nursing or Health
  • Proven experience leading a complex multisite customer focused business enterprise
  • Proven experience in the leadership, management and development of people
  • Superior business acumen, communication and analysis capability including budget management
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in working within a complex regulatory framework
