OVERVIEW
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Change Management and Communications Advisor to join their team.

Within this role you will develop change management and communication materials to ensure the Department is well prepared for key internal stakeholders to successfully and confidently adopt improved processes for integrated business planning.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide recommendations / strategies for addressing current communications concerns and ensuring key stakeholders understand their role in planning and reporting processes and driving continuous improvement in the Departments performance measure design and monitoring, and feel confident to contribute to ongoing reform.
  • Stocktake, gap analysis and intranet content redevelopment on the Departments integrated business planning process and artefacts so it is easily found and understood.
  • Timeline/roadmap for change management activities to support successful adoption of revised processes and overall strategic goal of building maturity in integrated business planning.
  • Communications / change management matrix.]
  • Support for SES Forums aligned to integrated business planning and the development of the Departments Corporate Plan and Divisional Operational Plans.
  • Broader support for the Communications and Engagement team as required and as capacity dictates (this may include media, comms strategy development etc).

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • A proven track record as an experienced change management / communications allrounder with experience in business planning, strategy and/or monitoring/evaluation (varied examples must be submitted as part of the response).
  • The ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing skills, and experience communicating with clarity.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to influence others, and an ability to work with significant autonomy as part of a small team.
