NSW Health Pathology currently have the opportunity for a Revenue Administration Officer to join the Revenue team at St George Hospital in a permanent full time capacity.

What you'll be doing
The Revenue Officer is responsible for ensuring all revenue related administration and financial
transactions and processes are managed in accordance with legislative, statutory, NSW Health and
NSW Health Pathology compliance obligations.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of billing systems as well as the ability to analyses and report on findings
  • Proven knowledge and experience with regards to interpreting applicable policies and legislation pertaining to billing requirements in an accounts related/revenue setting
  • Demonstrated highlevel interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare a range of documents and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Developed analytical and problemsolving skills with an ability to plan, priorities and organise own work taking into consideration the impact on others to achieve results and meet key performance indicators
  • Demonstrated experience working within an environment requiring sensitivity and consideration in relation to confidentiality and privacy

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).

Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
