Talent Focus are working with a leading Australian Manufacturer to help source their next HSE Manager in South Brisbane.

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of pipe to the construction, building and mining industry.

The Role
You will be responsible for Health & Safety in its entirety across two large manufacturing sites in Brisbane.

Develop and implement business level procedures and SOPs
Maintain WH&S management system in accordance with applicable standards and legislation
Engage and train workforce to encourage a safe working environment and culture
Work with business Stakeholders to identify and develop new initiatives that lead to measurable performance gains within safety systems, processes and behaviors
Implementation of corrective actions and/or safety improvement initiatives to comply with state and territory legislation

Your Skills and Experience

Excellent Risk Assessment skills AND be able to manage actions to completion.
Excellent understanding of Lock Out Tag Out
An Excellent communicator, manage your time well, be friendly and polite.
Team player and be able to gain trust and buy in
Ability to influence and build trust across multiple departments
Outstanding knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and Injury management legislation
Competent using online Safety Management Systems
First Aid Certificate
