We have an immediate opportunity for skilled MECHANICAL FITTER for ongoing maintenance work in the food machinery at Kingsgrove, NSW

Reporting directly to the Supervisor

IMMIDIATE START

LOCATION - Kingsgrove, NSW
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site work health and safety protocols, systems and procedures.

Maintenance work

Must be able to interpret drawings, use measuring equipment and documentation.

Operating food industry related machinery and equipment, pneumatic tooling and other associated equipment

Inspecting components and taking personal accountability for safe execution of work, quality and efficiency

Working in a team and communicating with internal customers as required

Recommending and developing safety and productivity improvements to maintenance practices

Diagnosing and recommending repair methods

Monitoring, isolating, commissioning and performing preventative maintenance and conducting operational activities

General housekeeping duties

Have own transportation

Must be trade qualified.

Must have at least 5 years trade experience

Must have own standard PPE.

Must have trade hand tools.

Be able to pass random D&A

Weekly Pay

Forklift license, elevated work platform confined space would be highly regarded

A positive and motivated attitude with a strong work ethic

Pay Rate
Day Shift - $50.00 to $60.00 PLUS Penalty Rates (Casual) Depending on experience
