The Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy is committed to delivering exceptional services to Queenslanders. We're looking for a talented and motivated Administration Officer to join our Finance team.

As an Administration Officer in the FS&S team, you will play a vital part in contributing to the department's objectives by providing high quality financial and administrative support services.

What you will be doing

  • Provide administration services for monitoring corporate card transactions, ProMaster approval processes, reporting and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) requirements. Monitoring for fraudulent activity and noncompliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assisting the Travel Administrator with departmental travel administration including regular system and process reviews, communication, and support to departmental officers.
  • Oversee the SAP based petty cash accounts and processes across the department and support the network of petty cash custodians to ensure correct and appropriate administration.
  • Complete financial related system maintenance, monitoring, reporting, and training activities to support the FS&S team.
  • Perform the role of Intranet webcoordinator to update web content and forms owned by FS&S.
  • Provide professional advice, guidance and support on financial systems and departmental policies and procedures.
