Brunel is working closely with a global company who are diversifying and growing their portfolio of renewable energy projects on the east-coast of Australia.

A well known, proud Australian business they are ambitious in decarbonising their own business as well as developing cutting edge green technologies, particularily in the hydrogen space.


About this role

If you're looking to join a high performing team who set stretch targets and are pushing boundaries in renewable energy then this one is for you.

Based in Brisbane, you'll report to the land manager and support the commercial team in securing exclusive, strategic land rights to help grow the ambitious pipeline of renewable energy projects.


Our client will consider someone at advisor or senior advisor level who has hands on experience negotiating directly with land holders, has a deep understanding of QLD land tenure legislation and strong commercial accumen to be able to draft agreements with limited support.


About you

  • Preference for an academic background in law but open to other qualifications.
  • Deep knowledge of QLD land tenure legislation is essential with knowledge in other areas desired.
  • Handson experience negotiating land agreements with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with GIS software to gain strategic information including tenure records and native title.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplined team across different timezones.
  • Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self starter who is adapable to change and enjoys working in high performing teams.
